The practice accepts phone calls from patients concerning current clinical matters. If the doctor is not immediately available our nurse may be able to assist you or a receptionist will take a message for the doctor to return your call.

Due to our privacy policy and regulations, our receptionists are not permitted to access results. When a doctor has ordered any test, it is recommended you ask your doctor in that consultation, for any instruction regarding a follow-up appointment.. This is especially relevant if several pathology or imaging tests have been requested.

If a result is reported with an urgent abnormality you will be notified by telephone or registered mail. All other results, with your permission, can be notified by either SMS or letter. As some test results may take longer than others, please contact the surgery if you have not had follow-up contact from your doctor after 2 weeks regarding your results.

We maintain a system to remind patients of routine tests, check-ups, or other preventative health issues via SMS or letter as a service to our patients. Your permission is requested on our patient registration form.
